Any kid that had a penny was rich when it came to buying a BIG cookie. Just one Jack's cookie was a meal. The cookies came in the clear container (see photo) and boy did they look good. They were like a big, flat donut..........complete with a hole in the center. A nickle got 5 of those big babies!!! They tasted like the old fashined tea cakes that grandmaw used to bake. If you took your time and just nibbled at the cookie instead of gulping it...........a cookie could last you an hour.

These containers were everywhere. Any retail outlet was not complete without a Jack's Cookie container. Don't see them anymore........too bad.
