Old Barn Styles
Barn styles are always in a state of evolution. The one in the photo is one designed to pull wagons under in rainy weather. The prevented the riders and crops from getting wet while putting the crops in the barn for storage. It took only two basic materials to make this type of barn..............wood and tin. They were simple to made and could be put up in two days if all supplies were on hand. they lasted a lifetime. They are disappearing quickly. Photograph them while you can.
