In yesteryear, keeping animals out of your vegatable and flower gardens was something you thought a lot about...........but did little about it. Then came the wire fence. What a blessing. You could keep those pesky chickens, pigs, dogs, and other undesireable critters out of you gardens. There were a lot of different wire weaves to choose from to. The one in the photo is a bit of a fancy one. It did the job and looked nice to. The wire was used for both yards fences and on gates. Great idea that finally came to life. Wonder how the great King Soloman kept chickens out of his garden??
